My Migraine Story and What Actually Helps
If you’ve ever had a migraine, you know.
This isn’t a “drink some water and lie down” situation.
It’s cancel your plans. Close the blinds. Try to function but barely get through it.
That was me.
And at the same time, I had two kids to keep up with. Busy days, schedules, moments I didn’t want to miss.
That was the hardest part.
Not just the migraine itself, but feeling like I had to step out of my own life while everything kept moving around me.
I didn’t want to miss the little moments because I was stuck in a dark room.
And as a nurse, I understood what was happening in my body. The dehydration. The inflammation. The nervous system overload.
But knowing didn’t always mean I had a solution that worked fast enough.
Tea helps. Rest helps. But when your body is already depleted, sometimes it’s not enough.
That’s where IV therapy changed things for me.
When I feel one coming on, or I’m coming out of one, I don’t want a slow fix. I want something that actually supports my body in real time.
Hydration. Magnesium. Support for inflammation. Relief for nausea when needed.
Not guesswork. Not trial and error.
Support that meets your body where it is.
That’s why migraine support is built into what we do at CIV. Not as an add-on. As a priority.
Because when you know, you know.
